"To be free is to be capable of thinking one's own thoughts - not the thoughts merely of the body, or of society, but thoughts generated by one's deepest, most original, most essential and spiritual self, one's individuality."
Sound Circle Center has redeveloped its programs to make them more accessible and affordable. Foundation Studies used to be the first year of our three-year teacher training program, and was also open to people just interested in developing themselves and exploring arts and anthroposophy. Our new teacher-training program integrates Foundation studies into its two-year intensive schedule.
To provide more opportunities for those interested in renewal and exploration, Sound Circle is offering a renewal course involving 10 Friday night sessions in both the fall of 2019 and the spring of 2020. Please check out our new teacher training program here , and look below for more details about our new RENEWAL program. We are also exploring the possibility of offering mini introductory classes (the arts, Anthroposophy, Waldorf education and personal development) (4 one day sessions or two weekends over a month.) Sign up for our Newsletter below to keep updated on all Offerings or email firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any questions.
Friday Evening Renewal: entering a liminal space.
A liminal space is the time between the ‘what was’ and the ‘next.’ This is the sacred space where the old world is able to fall apart, and a bigger world is revealed. After a long week of work, we will weekly create a nourishing, playful and enlivening space offering art, singing, a community dinner, movement and an exploration of various antroposophical insights.
“We are fully human only while playing,
and we play only when we are
human in the truest sense of the word.”
― Rudolf Steiner
