Support Sound Circle Center Today!
The world needs Waldorf teachers now more than ever. If you’re ready to embrace the challenge and joy of teaching the Waldorf way, we invite you to join us at Sound Circle Center. Together, we can create a brighter future for children and communities everywhere.
If this calling resonates with you, we encourage you to apply for our Grades Teacher Training or Early Childhood Teacher Training by June 1, 2025.
We believe financial barriers should not stand in the way of your journey to becoming a Waldorf teacher. That’s why we offer multiple forms of tuition assistance, including loans, grants, and payment plans. Please note: You must be an enrolled student to be eligible for any tuition assistance.
Many students also receive support from their schools—we highly encourage you to explore this option alongside the funding sources listed below.
Sound Circle Center is a full member institute of AWSNA and WECAN, making our students eligible for their Loans and Grants Program.
Who qualifies? Anyone pursuing an initial Waldorf teaching certificate at an AWSNA/WECAN member institute and legally authorized to work in North America.
Loan amount: Last year, loans were $900 (subject to annual adjustments).
Loan forgiveness: The loan can be fully forgiven if you teach ¾- to full-time at an AWSNA/WECAN member school for three consecutive years after graduation.
Each year of qualifying teaching converts ⅓ of the loan into a scholarship.
Teaching years before graduation may also count if at least one year is completed post-graduation.
Repayment terms: If you do not meet teaching requirements, the loan converts to a 1% monthly interest repayment plan over 12 months.
Who qualifies? Those already teaching at an AWSNA/WECAN member school while training.
Grant amount: Last year, grants were $600 (subject to annual adjustments).
Your school must provide a letter confirming your employment and any financial support they offer (full funding is not mandatory).
