Join Us on December 17th for our Winter Spiral of Light - In Person

Winter Spiral of Light

In the weeks before the winter solstice, the Winter Spiral takes place in Waldorf Schools the world over. Beginning in darkness one person at a time walks the spiral pathway to a center light carrying a candle. After lighting their candle, they turn and walk out again, placing their light in the spiral of greens in exchange for a star. The result is a lovely ceremony of light growing one candle at a time.

Our Winter Spiral of Light will take place at Seattle Waldorf School High School Campus. We are looking forward to meeting, bringing our intentions, and sharing our light with the community. Detailed information is below.

Love is higher than opinion. If people love one another, the most varied opinions can be reconciled…This is one of the most important tasks for humankind today and in the future: that human beings should learn to live together and understand one another. If this human fellowship is not achieved, all talk of inner development is empty.
